Architectural offers an upgraded look
traditionally-turned 1 1/2" Colonial balusters. From near or far, it is
difficult to determine that our baluster is not painted wood. This
architecturally and period-correct design brings back the feel of days gone by.
Madison Railing
Simple functionality at an excellent value! Madison
provides larger, bolder, full 2" square balusters along with a flat top tail
designed to accommodate that refreshment following a long day at work or on the
course.
Fortress Rail
This unique design offers a custom-railing look at an
exceptional value. Combine Color Guard's reliable vinyl rails with your choice
of powder-coated metal balusters in three shapes and two colors to give a porch
or deck a custom touch which you create. Choose any combination of our white,
tan or clay rails with baluster colors including white and black.
Rail and Mounting Options
To get the job done right, accessories become an
important part of the final design decision. Color Guard®
offers the industry's widest selection of rail mounting options because we
realize carpentry skill levels and complexity of the job can create certain
challenges. Post and rail-mounting brackets along with decorative post caps and
bases will make your Color Guard ® porch or deck rail installation
unique.
Secondary Handrail
Secondary Handrail is designed
to allow a continuous rail surface for the hand to follow from the top to the
bottom of a stairway. Various configurations are available to meet design needs.
Post
Details
Structurally sound, the
Colonnade, Promenade and Smooth porch posts are designed to carry normal loads
of up to 5,400 pounds. Compared to others, Color Guard posts are a full 108" in
height with a 5" base on each end. Structural properties inside the post allow
you to firmly attach rail up to 42" high to finish off your porch. Included with
each post are two floor and header mounting brackets, screws and installation
instructions. Newel Post is available in 4" x 4" base and heights of 38" and
44".
